SAPNAM 2017 ongoing

SAPNAM, South Australian Professional Networking Association for Migrants was Co-founded by Rama Ramanathan and Daniel Connell, and is coordinated by a dedicated core team of recently arrived skilled migrants, mostly from South Asia but not exclusively, who have lived experience of seeking employment in Australia,. It has become one of the largest free and voluntary employment services for new migrants in Australia and has many members joining before entry. SAPNAM meets once a month and has an active social media platform of close to 2000 members which is strictly monitored by Kaushik Ragu to maintain its focus on employment-only matters. SAPNAM was formed to offer directed one to one, experienced, industry specific and emotional support to new migrants. While much generalised support is available the opportunity for genuine conversations, editing of written applications, interview technique advice and cultural literacy guidance is not available.
